Please be advised that the Master's final examination will normally take place in person at the University of Trieste. Exceptionally, taking the final examination remotely will be permitted exclusively in the following cases:

1- students residing or domiciled abroad;

2- students with health conditions preventing in-person participation, provided these are adequately      documented. Requests to take the final examination remotely must be submitted in advance to the Master's Program Office, accompanied by documentation verifying that the aforementioned requirements are met.

This Level I Master’s program in Labor Law for Personnel Management and Labor Consulting provides a solid foundation in labor law subjects, combining legal training with other cross-disciplinary legal competencies—such as criminal law, tax law, and EU labor law—as well as business-related skills necessary for operating within private and public sector organizational contexts. The goal is to train professionals capable of effectively providing labor law consultancy, including support for human resources management. Society and workplaces are undergoing significant changes driven by numerous ongoing transitions—ranging from environmental and digital shifts to the impact of social sustainability goals. These changes present new challenges that labor law professionals must be able to navigate by reinforcing their core knowledge while expanding their expertise into economic and organizational areas that extend beyond labor law—and even beyond the legal field itself. The course is structured into five modules covering: 1) core subjects (Module I: Fundamentals of Labor and Trade Union Law); 2) labor law topics particularly affected by current transitions (Module II: Labor Law and Environmental, Digital, and Social Transitions); 3) thematic focuses on specific aspects of other legal sectors and areas related to labor management and consulting (Module III: Thematic Focuses Beyond Labor Law); and 4) workshop-style seminars where experts and practitioners from various professional categories (lawyers, labor consultants, chartered accountants, and representatives from INAIL and INPS) will engage with participants on practical issues regarding the specific legal concepts analyzed. Module V will comprise a) a *lectio magistralis* delivered by renowned professors and b) the final assessment, featuring a public discussion of the papers.
