• New edition of ICL seminars: New Product Forecasting and Storytelling e comunicazione + schedule changes to the seminar Leadership, team building & social strategies

  The new editions of two more seminars are starting soon at the former military hospital (ex Ospedale Militare) in Via Fabio Severo 40. The seminars are open to all the students of the University of Trieste and will take place in Italian, with attendance in person only. 

  New Product Forecasting will start on July 7th 2026, for a total of 10 hours of class. Registrations are open until July 6th. The registration form and the class schedule are available at the following link:

• Call for the selection of tutors to support ICL participants

  It is now open a call for the selection of 8 PhD students for the tutoring of ICL participants and their projects.

  The deadline is June 25th, 2026.

• ELEVATE Accelerator Programme Call

  It is now possible to apply for an international call meant to select 12 innovative projects or early-stage startups for the participation in the "ELEVATE Acceleration Programme". Teams of minimum 2 people belonging to one of the ELEVATE consortium members - including the University of Trieste - can apply.

  The Acceleration Programme is an intensive programme revolving around acceleration that promotes the developmente of interdisciplinary, knowledge-intensive enterpreneurial initiatives in the domains of Food and Food Biotechnology, Biomedicine and Health, Artificial Intelligence and Creative and Cultural Industries.

  The deadline is June 19th, 2026.

Final results of the call to enter ICL - Innovators Community Lab's second edition

It is now available and posted on number 533 of the University's Albo Ufficiale the final results of the selection for the second edition of ICL - Innovators Community Lab.

The ICL is a place where innovation comes from collaboration between people from different educational backgrounds, from the transversality of disciplines and the contamination of knowledge, hence the name Contamination Lab.

ICL activities consist of learning, mentoring, coworking and making, and are aimed at students selected on the basis of the annual call for applications. Learning activities are open to all students enrolled at the University of Trieste.

Throughout the year, the ICL organises seminars open to the entire university community.

• LEARNING
  Knowing in order to know how to recombine: a multidisciplinary and systemic training offer on soft skills, specific skills for business planning and innovation as a production system, which also includes meetings with companies and seminars with guidance professionals.
   
• MENTORING
  Listening, knowledge and skills at the disposal of projects: consulting on strategic intellectual property management, business planning and open innovation.
   
• COWORKING
  Open spaces for ideas to grow: common study and work areas where you can carry out your projects and feel like a community, assisted by professionals.
   
• MAKING
  The presence of a making corner to create prototypes to support one's projects.
