An ‘international student’, or ‘degree seeker’, is anyone with a foreign qualification wishing to complete a degree course in Italy.

The University welcomes students from all over the world. In this section you’ll find information on how to access our course catalogue of:

  • bachelor's and integrated (5- or 6-year) master’s degrees
  • master’s degrees
  • individual courses

 

 

Applications for the assessment of students' qualifications for the a.y. 2026-2027 open on 15th December, 2025 on apply.units.it
Prospective students can apply for an assessment during 2 rounds:
1) 15th December 2025-15th January 2026
2) 15th February-30th April 2026
An application fee of €40,00 will be charged. The fee allows applying to up to 3 programmes.
 

In the second round, only European citizens and equivalents will be allowed to apply for Business Administration and Management and International Economics and Financial Markets.

 

Necessary steps before enrolling

The steps you need to take to enrol in a degree course depend on your qualification, whether you require a visa and the degree course itself.

If you have a foreign qualification, and you need a visa
If you have a foreign qualification but you do not need a visa
If you are a student under international protection
Follow the same steps as students with foreign qualifications who do not need a visa.
If you need a visa but you have an Italian qualification
Follow the same steps as students with a foreign qualification who need an entry visa.
For Phd or Master
None of the above situations apply to you.
