Contenuto If you have earned a PhD abroad and wish to have it recognized officially in Italy, you can file your application at the University of Trieste, provided your degree is comparable to one of the PhD Programmes offered in our University. How to apply Send the application form, duly completed and signed, to dottorati@amm.units.it with all required attachments (see links below "modulo equipollenza")Register on our online services, in case of first-time access (Esse3): https://esse3.units.it/Home.do Email the Office to inform them that your registration has been made, so that the €166 fee (including €15 stamp duty and €150 due for assessment) can be generated on your Esse3 areaPay the above fees onlineLYour application will then be sent to the Coordinator in order to be assessed by the faculty, and eventually by the Academic Senate. In case of positive evaluation, a €400 fee is due.After payment of the fee, a Rectoral Decree recognizing the foreign PhD degree as equivalent to the corresponding Italian Doctorate will be delivered to you.
