Porte Aperte - University of Trieste Open Days

The UniTS Prospective Student Support Office organises four Porte Aperte events - the University’s official Open Days - each academic year.

Discover the dates, locations and study programmes designed to guide you in choosing your university path.

  • Open Days – October: the main event, held in the Trieste campus over three days and dedicated to the different Areas of the academic offer (bachelor’s and single-cycle master’s degrees), where you can meet lecturers, students and explore the University’s services and facilities.
  • Open Day Gorizia – January: an open day in the Gorizia campus dedicated to the bachelor's and single-cycle master’s degree programmes offered in Gorizia.
  • Spring Open Day – March: an event in the Trieste campus featuring presentations of degree programmes, guidance sessions and information on admissions and services.
  • Master’s Open Day – April: an event dedicated to master’s degree programmes, offering further insight into postgraduate programmes, entry requirements and career opportunities.

Open Days – 21, 22 and 23 October 2026

The next Open Days will take place on the UniTS main campus in Piazzale Europa on 21, 22 and 23 October 2026 and will be dedicated to bachelor's and integrated master's degree programmes.

  1. Are Open Days held in person and/or online?
    Open Days are generally held in person. In some specific cases, an online or hybrid format may be available, so make sure to check the programme carefully.
  2. Do I need to register for the presentations I’m interested in?
    Yes. You’ll find a registration link for each presentation included in the programme.
  3. Can I register for more than one presentation?
    Yes, you can register for as many presentations as you like. Just make sure to check the times, as some presentations may overlap.
  4. Can I come with someone?
    Yes. However, please note that Open Days are mainly intended for prospective students and that places are limited.
  5. Which Campus buildings are the Open Days held in?
    Check the programme to find out where the presentation you’re interested in will take place. Then visit the Piazzale Europa Campus page for the map and directions.
