Each academic year, the UniTS Prospective Student Support and School Liaison staff organise four events dedicated to our Open Days, Porte Aperte.

The main event in October spreads over three days, each focusing on a different area of our range of bachelor's and integrated degree programmes. This is followed by the January Open Day at the Gorizia campus, focusing on the bachelor's and integrated degree programmes based in Gorizia. In March, with the Spring Open Day, again at the Trieste campus, you will have a second opportunity to discover all the programmes you can enrol in after completing secondary school.

Finally, if you are already a university student, the right event for you is the one in April, dedicated to all master's degree programmes.

Spring Open Day - 20 March 2026

The Spring Open Day will take place in Trieste on the main campus in Piazzale Europa on Friday 20 March 2026. The programme will be available shortly - do not forget to register for the presentations and activities you are interested in!

  1. Are the Open Days in person or online?
    Open Days are usually held in person. In some cases, there may also be an online or hybrid option, so make sure to check the programme carefully.
  2. Do I need to register for the presentations I’m interested in?
    Yes. For each presentation in the programme, you’ll find a registration link.
  3. Can I sign up for more than one presentation?
    Of course! You can register for as many presentations as you like. Just keep an eye on the schedule, as some sessions might overlap.
  4. Do I need to register for the other activities, too?
    No, registration isn’t required for the Campus Guided Tours, the University Services presentations, or the UniTalks. Just show up in the indicated room at the time listed in the programme.
  5. Can I bring someone with me?
    Yes, but your guests will need to register as well. Please keep in mind that Open Days are mainly for prospective students and places are limited.
  6. Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
    Yes! At the end of the activities you’ve chosen for the day, you can pick it up at the Prospective Student Support front desk by showing a valid ID.
  7. Can I attend even if I’m not in my final year of high school yet?
    Absolutely! The event is open to all students who are interested.
