Chemical engineering
Materials and chemical processes are fundamental in all industrial activities and in the development of new technologies. They are the essence of any application: energy production, electronics, design, textile industry, biomedical devices, food industry, sports industry, and much more.
The objective of the Master's Degree program is to train the materials engineers and chemical engineers of the future, providing a clear understanding of the technologies and of the dynamics of the key global challenges, and simultaneously a solid and deep knowledge of the scientific foundations of materials and chemical engineering. Students also learn the basics of how to approach research and development in the area of materials and processes, in both industrial and academic environments. Our graduates thus become high-level professionals capable of analyzing and solving complex problems and applying their knowledge to drive innovation.
This Master's Degree program is designed for graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) or other technical and scientific degrees (check the admission requirements) who wish to develop a deeper knowledge and skills in materials science and engineering or chemical and process engineering.
The interdisciplinary approach of this Master's Degree will expose you to theory and practice, to modeling, simulation, and laboratory experimentation, enabling you to thoroughly understand the properties, production, and performance of materials, as well as the interrelations between them. You will also learn to design and control production processes. All of this will allow you to be able to select and design optimal materials and processes specific for any application, and especially to develop innovative materials and processes.
