The Research Evaluation Committee - CVR is responsible for the internal evaluation process. It is a technical committee composed of 16 members, one for each disciplinary area of the University.

The CVR's mission is to provide the University's management, evaluation and control bodies with useful elements for guiding scientific research strategies. In a broader sense, the CVR promotes the study, experimentation, application and dissemination of evaluation methods and practices aimed at analysing the quality of the scientific activity carried out at the University.

The annual research assessment

The CVR conducts an annual assessment of scientific publications, based on an evaluation methodology that takes into account their editorial profile through weighting tables, each year determining the list of researchers who are above or below the Minimum Scientific Production Index.

"The IPm is a threshold value. The threshold is exceeded if at least two publications with a CVR weight greater than 2, and a total CVR weight greater than or equal to 10, have been produced in the four-year reference period. A partial or total exemption may be associated with the IPm".
