Within the Trenitalia for Business Program, Trenitalia offers University of Trieste students the Welfare PLUS offer, a special 10% discount valid for purchasing tickets for private trips by the student travelling with up to 6 accompanying people. 

The discount applies to tickets issued at the Base, Economy, and Super Economy fares for all trains of the national Frecce service.

To benefit from the Welfare Plus discount for UniTS students, you must:

  1. Be a regular UniTS student
  2. Be a CartaFRECCIA Trenitalia card holder
  3. Associate your CartaFRECCIA with the Trenitalia for Business Program

 

If you have previously associated your CartaFRECCIA you will already find the Welfare Plus 10% discount active, with no need for further action.

This offer is valid for all purchases made until December 31, 2025.
