GENERAL WARNINGS

All students with foreign qualifications, regardless of their nationality, must meet the admission requirements for the Master's degree courses of the University of Trieste, both for qualifications issued in European Union (EU) countries and in non-EU countries.

If you are a non-EU citizen residing abroad who requires an entry visa, this is what you must do before submitting your enrollment application:

Pre-register on Universitaly

  • Access or register to the portal, if you have not already done so, and complete the procedure by uploading the required documents by the deadlines
  • Wait for the outcome of the evaluation by UniTS, which will respond through Universitaly. You will also receive any requests for integration of documentation through Universitaly.

The diplomatic representations activate the visa issuance procedure for the student already pre-selected by the University of Trieste, whose pre-registration is confirmed on the Universitaly platform. The Police Forces have access to the UNIVERSITALY platform for the procedures for issuing residence permits and for checks of competence. At the end of the pre-registration procedures, the student is issued a "D" type ENTRY VISA for ITALY for STUDY purposes ("University Enrollment"). Within eight days of arrival in Italy with a "national" type D visa for STUDY (University enrollment), students must submit the application for a STUDY residence permit to the competent Police Headquarters of the city in which they intend to establish their residence.

NB: International Students must respect the enrollment deadlines, including the payment of the tuition fee.

IMPORTANT

  • All certificates must be legalized or bear the Apostille stamp (except for documents issued by Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland, Germany, Hungary, Latvia and Estonia).
  • All diplomas and certificates issued in languages other than Italian or English must be translated into Italian or English.
