This will be followed by a description of the working environment, with a focus on the interface and basic functionalities, highlighting the differences and specific features of managing teaching Teams compared to personal Teams. Some of the topics covered in the module will include:Teams and channels: how to activate and use automatically generated onesCreating personal TeamsManaging instant and scheduled meetings; configuring the available optionsUsing integrated tools and appsTroubleshooting issues such as lack of audio/video during lessonsIn addition to using TEAMS for teaching purposes, other communication and collaboration functionalities will also be covered, such as:Managing audio and video callsParticipating in online meetingsScreen and file sharingManaging recordingsCreating and assigning tasksPractical examples will be provided during the module to enhance understanding of the platform. Team Based Learning (TBL): Learning in small groups within large classes Lecturer: Antonella LottiDate: 23 June 2025Location: Sala Atti DEAMS (Building D)Time: from 14:00 to 18:00Registration: by 20 June 2025, sending an email to tlc@units.itContent: Team-Based Learning (TBL) is a teaching method that allows the use of small group work both in person, even in very large classrooms, and online. Team-Based Learning literally means learning based on teamwork, immediately evoking the image of a close-knit group of students learning together. How can we create student groups and help them work well together to the point where they can learn from each other and solve even complex problems? This is a challenge that TBL takes on — and wins! The module offers the opportunity to:have a direct experience of TBLevaluate the possibility of introducing TBL into one's own teachingAt the end of the module, participants should be able to understand the features of TBL and plan their own course using backward planning.
