Content: Team-Based Learning (TBL) is a teaching method that allows the use of small group work both in person, even in very large classrooms, and online. Team-Based Learning literally means learning based on teamwork, immediately evoking the image of a close-knit group of students learning together. How can we create student groups and help them work well together to the point where they can learn from each other and solve even complex problems? This is a challenge that TBL takes on — and wins! The module offers the opportunity to:

  • have a direct experience of TBL
  • evaluate the possibility of introducing TBL into one's own teaching

At the end of the module, participants should be able to understand the features of TBL and plan their own course using backward planning.

Training activities linked to the ALMA network.

The University of Trieste is a partner in one of the three national Digital Education Hubs funded by the PNRR. The network, consisting of 14 universities led by the University Federico II of Naples, is called ALMA (Advanced Learning Multimedia Alliance) and offers training activities for teachers, researchers and digital experts dedicated to digital education.
