As part of ongoing efforts to improve the safety of university spaces, the video surveillance project is nearing completion with the aim of enhancing security and maintaining public order. The system acts as a deterrent against potential thefts, supports effective investigations if necessary, and reduces response times in case of emergencies.

The project involved the creation of a secure and extensive network infrastructure designed to cover all university buildings.

Currently, in line with the project deadlines, most buildings have been completed (A, B, C1, C2, C3, C6, C7, C8, C9, D, H1, H2, H2BIS, H3, M, Q, R, Callerio Foundation, C, N, O, P, Q, W, ACM, Baciocchi, Via Economo, Gorizia Campus).

The surveillance system, which meets high standards of efficiency, reliability, privacy, and security, comprises over 300 cameras managed through a unified system that also integrates the previously used system.

Recordings are made in compliance with the University’s current regulations.

The monitoring system is available to the University Security Service.
