The Central Library of Medicine will host the exhibition entitled "Supercharged by AI" from 17 to 28 November 2025.

Supercharged by AI is a traveling, interactive exhibition exploring the social and ethical impacts of artificial intelligence, bringing it to libraries across Europe. From chatbots to deepfakes, AI-generated content is becoming increasingly prevalent online. New AI tools allow for faster, cheaper, and more accessible generation of text, images, videos, and more. However, traditional online challenges—such as scams, harassment, polarization, and bias—are now amplified by the use of AI. The interactive journey of Supercharged by AI aims to help visitors understand the scale and complexity of these challenges.

After touring over 50 European libraries, the "Supercharged by AI" exhibition will now arrive in Trieste at the Central Library of Medicine (Strada di Fiume 447 - Cardiology Center, third floor).

The materials on display, produced by Tactical Tech and the DensityDesign Lab of the Polytechnic University of Milan in collaboration with the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and the Italian Library Association (AIB), were created thanks to the support of the European Media and Information Fund.
