EUT Edizioni Università di Trieste published the new issue of the magazine Visioni LatinoAmericane 32 (2025), entitled "Desigualdades y emergencias transformadoras en torno a la justicia, los derechos humanos y la cultura".

This issue features five articles on experiences that can be conceived as transformative emergencies that seek to influence constituted powers as a result of the research that was produced as part of the project ‘Configuración de las desigualdades en Santiago del Estero desde finales del siglo XIX. Temporalidades, emergencias y estatalidades', by the Institute for Social Development Studies (INDES). The issues addressed by these studies revolve around various themes related to access to justice, human rights and the dispute over the meaning of cultural spaces in an Argentine province. The aim of the dossier is to address transformative emergencies that seek to influence established powers. Transformative emergencies are treated as a category of analysis, i.e. not as a merely descriptive term, but as a conceptual framework that reflects and at the same time shapes the way we understand and study phenomena. From this, the data constructed in the various investigations contained in this publication have been organised and interpreted. In a transversal manner, these five articles manage to identify actors and organisational modes that challenge the constituted powers with the social and institutional tools to realise new ways of life that guarantee the recognition of rights and identities.

The second part of the issue features reviews of Edison Hüttner, Fabio De Blasis, Christine Sidonie Michèle Ngo Bayiha e V. Adrián Mujica, Luis Palomino, Irene Pinchi, María Fernanda Sandoval, Ariana Ubaldo.
