Issue no. 30 (2025) of QuaderniCIRD. Journal of the Interdepartmental Center for Educational Research of the University of Trieste is now available online.

This issue once again consolidates the journal’s traditionally multidisciplinary approach, with a particular focus on the potential of fostering fruitful interactions between different disciplines, and on the consequent promotion of original forms of synergy.

The issue presents four extensive contributions that explore the interconnections between geography and political science, mathematics and linguistics, statistics and health sciences, as well as applied ergonomics and computer science.

Two additional contributions are more specifically oriented towards contextualized educational research in primary and lower secondary schools. The first focuses on a training proposal that highlighted synergies between mathematics and history; the second examines in-service teachers’ perception of the urgency to implement effective innovations in the teaching of history, also through appropriate continuing education initiatives.

Finally, the issue closes with a contribution offering didactic suggestions for discovering the rich geodiversity of the Gemonese area, a region within Friuli Venezia Giulia that stands as a truly paradigmatic example from a geological perspective.
