This year, the PRO-BENE-COMUNE 2.0 project is again offering a Life Skills Development Workshop, starting on March 16th (first edition) and April 8th (second edition). This workshop is open to the entire university community of the University of Trieste.

The workshop will be held in Italian, and upon completion, an Open Badge will be issued, which can also be useful in the workplace.

The course's three modules focus on developing the following skills:

1. Communication and interpersonal skills that will allow you to effectively address complex or conflictual communication situations through active listening, assertive communication, and negotiation, thus laying the foundations for improved interpersonal relationships;

2. Problem-solving and decision-making skills to solve complex problems using a structured and methodical approach, and to make informed decisions by rationally evaluating various options, available data, and the impact of possible outcomes at both an intra- and interpersonal level. This module also focuses on developing critical skills to evaluate evidence and arguments, creative abilities to generate innovative solutions, and the ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively in decision-making processes through constructive discussion and the sharing of ideas;

3. Stress and emotion management skills that will be useful for recognizing the signs of stress, identifying its causes, and adopting various strategies to reduce its negative effects, flexibly depending on the type of stressor, one's available resources, and one's goals. By attending this module, you will also learn to better recognize your own emotions and those of others, understanding their underlying meaning and learning new ways to manage them;

Overall, improving all of these skills can foster greater psychophysical adaptation, promoting a more proactive approach to challenges.

It is possible to attend the modules in different editions, as long as the entire workshop is completed by April 23, 2026.
