Mindfulness (mental presence) is a stress-reduction technique based on the practice of awareness. It is a set of codified techniques originating from the practice of vipassana meditation, a term that can be translated as insight or non-discursive knowledge. It involves paying attention to the unfolding of experience in the here and now, maintaining an attitude characterized by receptivity, non-reactivity, kindness, and equanimity toward the experience.

Among the benefits of mindfulness, numerous cognitive neuroscience studies have highlighted a strengthening of neuropsychological systems related to attention, emotion regulation, and awareness of self and body states.

A certificate of attendance will be issued to those who attend all classes.
