This is the first meeting of the series Are We the Product?, organized within the framework of the PRIN 2022 ERMETE Project – Fairness and Transparency in Online Commercial Speech: From Pragmatic Analysis to Regulation, led by the University of Genoa with the University of Trieste as a partner. The scientific coordinators are Paolo Labinaz, Professor of Philosophy and Theory of Language (DiSU), and Nicola Muffato, Professor of Philosophy of Law (IUSLIT).The discussion will focus on the impact of digital advertising on our everyday lives: a system that collects data, shapes behaviors, and influences consumer choices.
