As part of the Macerata Humanities Festival, the fair ‘Books UP! University Press books’ is back, and will take place at the Casb Sbriccoli Hall (Piazza Oberdan, 4 - Macerata) on 16th and 17th October 2024.

Organised in partnership with the‘Giacomo Leopardi’ School of Advanced Studies the fair involves the academic community, the Macerata Racconta festival, Macerata high schools and Macerata bookshops.

The theme of the Macerata Humanities Festival 2024, ‘Discovering Peace: Paths of Justice to Heal the World’, focuses on the correlation between two categories central to the contemporary world: peace and justice.

The aim of this edition is to explore the key stages how to successfully achieve peace, and their inescapable implications on justice in its intra-personal, inter-subjective and global elements.

EUT will be present with its latest publications that explore the important themes of this year’s event, which focuses on a humanistic approach, centred around people, beauty and the community in order to offer new perspectives on society and the world.
