On Thursday 27 March 2025, as part of the ‘PRO-BENE-COMMUNE’ project, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in lecture hall 2B of building H3 on campus, the theoretical-experiential seminar entitled "Game -over or win-win? - Interpersonal conflicts through game theory" will take place.

Dr Alan Mattiassi, psychologist, will speak, highlighting how some concepts of game theory can help us understand and resolve conflicts even in everyday life, maintaining effective and respectful communication.

How do conflicts develop and what strategies can be adopted to best manage them? Through practical examples and simulations, the role of trust, cooperation and social justice will be analysed, learning how to recognise the dynamics and adopt useful strategies to better manage conflicts in the different areas of our lives.

The national “PRO-BENE-COMMUNE” project is an initiative involving nine Italian universities, including the University of Trieste, with the aim of addressing the challenges related to the psychophysical well-being of university students in a holistic and multidisciplinary manner. The project aims to create a welcoming and inclusive university environment, thanks to targeted counselling, wellness promotion and awareness-raising activities on psychological distress, as well as solid research activities.

It will also be possible to participate by going live on Microsoft Teams. All information can be found in the attachment below.
