04 December 2025, 6 pm - 06 December 2025, 7 pm Testo evento From December 4 to 6, 2025, the initiative "s-Tradurre 2025: What Language Cannot and Translation Must. Reflections on Translation and Poetry Open to All Citizens" will take place in Trieste at the Knulp Bookshop and the Rogers Station. The initiative is curated by professor Helena Lozano Miralles of the Department of Humanities at the University of Trieste.International guest, on Friday, December 5th at 6 pm at Stazione Rogers, Riva Grumula 14, will be Juan Cruz, spanish journalist, writer, poet, essayist, and editor.In 1976, he co-founded the newspaper El País, for which he served as London correspondent and editor of the culture and opinion section. He also directed the publishing house Alfaguara. The author of over forty books and countless articles, he has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Premio Nacional de Periodismo Cultural (National Cultural Journalism Award) (2012). In Italy, he published the novel "A piedi nudi" (Barefoot) and the conversations with Mario Vargas Llosa "Davanti allo specchio" (In Front of the Mirror) with Mimesis.
