After the first two meetings of the conference cycle on eating disorders, this week we will move to the gym to play, work out and have fun in a day not to be missed at any cost. On Saturday 1 March, in fact, at the Palacus in Via Monte Cengio 2, there will be an Open Day dedicated to two sports disciplines, Inclusive Football and Baskin, and organised by the Bazinga team, the inclusive sports project curated by the collaboration between the Asd Polisportiva Fuoric'entro ODV and the ANFFAS-branded Cooperativa Sociale Trieste Integrazione.THE GENERAL PROJECT AND THE WORDS OF THE ORGANISERSThis Open Day is part of the initiatives of the ‘Inclusion and Sport Wellbeing’ project, implemented by Cus Trieste with the support of the Italian Federation of University Sport (FederCUSI) and developed with the aim of fostering social integration and promoting healthy lifestyles through inclusive sports activities and in-depth moments dedicated to health and accessibility.‘We are particularly keen,’ - stressed Cus Trieste President Michele Pipan - ‘on this Open Day, to which we want to give even greater prominence than those already organised by the entities involved, because it is part of the larger project ’Inclusion and Sporting Wellbeing. We felt it was our duty, as well as an enormous pleasure, to involve the Bazinga, who have been using our spaces on a weekly basis for almost seven years now. Between Cus Trieste and the Bazinga the synergy is now well established and we are eager to continue this journey together. They are a reality, and we cannot but thank the great efforts made by the Asd Polisportiva Fuoric'entro ODV and the ANFFAS-branded Cooperativa Sociale Trieste Integrazione, which has managed to create a solid, enthusiastic and heterogeneous network of participants, including people with disabilities and the able-bodied. Baskin and Inclusive Football allow sportsmen and sportswomen with disabilities to compete on an equal footing and practise a sport that is not at all obvious and simple, where dynamism, astuteness and the ability to adapt to game situations and the physical abilities of teammates and opponents are the keys to emerging’.THE DETAILS OF THE OPEN DAYThe Palacus in Via Monte Cengio 2 and the players, as well as coaches and companions, of Bazinga will welcome ANYONE, regardless of ability level, who would like to try out two of the disciplines par excellence of inclusive sport (Inclusive sport is defined as a discipline in which rules, game settings and equipment are designed so that anyone can play) on Saturday 1 March. From 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. we will play Inclusive Table Football and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Baskin. At the end of the morning there will also be refreshments designed as a concluding moment of conviviality dedicated to all participants.‘As Asd Polisportiva Fuoric'entro ODV, a reality born in 1999 in the field of mental health in Trieste, since 2017 we have created the inclusive sports project implemented then in 2018 with the birth of the Bazinga together with the Social Cooperative Trieste Integrazione branded ANFFAS - said the Sports Director of the Bazinga Luca Bianchi. The latter added: ‘From 2019 the Palacus has become our home and so it was natural to put on this Open Day as part of the “Inclusion and Sporting Wellbeing” project. On Saturday we will definitely have fun: for both Inclusive Football and Baskin there will be an initial 10' briefing to listen to the rules and then we will start playing by introducing new players in rotation. I invite those who are curious and those who want to play sport, even in a different way than usual, to come and dive into the fray without fear’.Contact: cus@units.it Allegati Document Locandina Open day Calcetto inclusivo Document Locandina Open day Baskin
