On April 15, 16, and 17, 2026, the CLA of the University of Trieste will host the "IX International Conference on Science and Translation”, organized in collaboration with the University of Córdoba, at its headquarters in Via Filzi 14.

The conference aims to highlight the essential role of translation in the exchange of ideas and scientific progress and serves as a meeting point and forum for debate on the sometimes subtle but always necessary relationship between science and translation.

The numerous advances in science and technology in an increasingly globalized world require greater interaction between individuals from different cultures and societies. Therefore, translation has become a common and necessary task, indispensable for communication in all fields of knowledge.

In this context, the 9th International Congress on Science and Translation is being organized, entitled "Interdisciplinary Bridges and the Dissemination of Scientific Knowledge", which emphasizes the essential role of translation in the exchange of ideas and scientific progress. The Congress aims to be a meeting point and a forum for debate that highlights the sometimes subtle, yet always necessary, relationship between science and translation.
