On Monday, June 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM, the second of a three-seminar series entitled "Innovating for the Planet: Chemistry to Address Environmental Challenges" will take place at the San Marco Bookshop and Café, located at Via Cesare Battisti 18, Trieste. This series is a Public Social Engagement initiative of the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Trieste.

Speaker: professor Paolo Fornasiero - "Catalyzing the Future: Chemistry at the Heart of Sustainability".

How can chemistry contribute to a sustainable future? From catalysis to the production of hydrogen as a clean energy carrier, they emerge as key tools for the energy transition. This presentation explores the challenges and opportunities of this shift.
