27 September 2025 , 8:30 - 10 pm Testo evento As part of the PRO-BENE-COMUNE project, the University of Trieste is organizing the theater performance Il Vestito Azzurro (The Blue Dress), scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 8:30 PM at Teatro Basaglia (via Edoardo Weiss 13, Trieste).Directed by Ascanio Caruso with texts by Elena Vesnaver, the play tells—through an ironic yet profound tone—the stories of ordinary people grappling with their bodies, social pressures, and the discomforts related to eating habits. Through everyday and symbolic situations, the stage becomes a space for collective reflection on sensitive and highly relevant issues.Following the performance, there will be a panel discussion with specialists aimed at deepening the topics addressed and fostering dialogue with the audience. Experts in psychology, nutrition, and representatives from associations engaged in the prevention and support of eating disorders will participate. The event will open with institutional greetings by Professor Barbara Penolazzi, the project’s scientific coordinator for the University.Admission to the performance is free, but advance booking is required via QR code, subject to seat availability. The event is open to the entire university and local community.EXPERIENTIAL WORKSHOP “BODY, EMOTIONS, AND NUTRITION”Alongside the theater initiative, an experiential workshop titled “Body, Emotions, and Nutrition” will also take place, conducted by Ascanio Caruso and Dr. Gian Luigi Luxardi.
