EUT Edizioni Università di Trieste participates in "Imaginary Life" - Turin International Book Fair | XXXVI edition

May 9 - 13, 2024 | Lingotto Fiere

EUT, in collaboration with other academic and scientific publishing houses, will be present at Vita immaginaria, XXXVI edition of the Turin International Book Fair, to be held at Lingotto Fiere from Thursday, May 9, to Monday, May 13, in Hall 2 - Stand H06 Centro Congressi Lingotto, Bringing their new publications to the stand UPI University Press Italiane.

The theme of the XXXVI edition of the Turin International Book Fair will be the Imaginary Life that moves creative life, as Natalia Ginzburg writes in her magnificent essay, and sometimes anticipates and guesses the events of real life.

Five days to trace new words, glimpses into the world and, above all, imaginary lives, with Italian and international authors, publishing houses and readers of all ages.

One of the most salient new features of the XXXVI edition is the creation of seven sections parallel to the general programming, each dedicated to a theme relevant to the Salon.

One of the sections is Publishing, an appointment where different publishing dynamics will be analyzed and explored.

On Friday, May 10, at 6 p.m., EUT Edizioni Università di Trieste will be a guest in the spaces of the Apulia Region (Hall 2 - stand J118, K117) for the presentation of the volume  "Le lettere delle diocesi del Regno di Napoli alla Congregazione del sant'Ufficio 1557-1629" by Antonio Ciuffreda (series Inquisizione e società. Sources - EUT Edizioni University of Trieste), with Paolo Ponzio (director DIRUM - University of Bari), Mauro Rossi (head EUT Edizioni University of Trieste) and Antonio Ciuffreda (researcher and lecturer University of Bari).

Also on Friday, May 10, at 8 p.m., EUT Edizioni Università di Trieste will be a guest speaker in the spaces of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region (OVAL Pavilion - Stand W162, X161) for the presentation of the book "1924-2024: Un secolo di storia dell’Università degli Studi di Trieste attraverso immagini e documenti", with Tullia Catalan and Lorenzo Ielen, editors of the text, and Massimo De Grassi (University of Trieste).

A long journey through images, rare or unpublished, in the first 100 years of a "border" University, from the aspiration of the Julian people for their own University during the Hapsburg period to the current international projection of a "Trieste city of science".
