BORDERS AND MIGRATION: IN THE GARDEN OF THE (IN)VISIBLE
Sunday, June 23, 2024

Guided hike from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Reserve to discover the places of passage of the migration route on the border between Italy and Slovenia.

Always a communication route affected by movements of peoples, the Rosandra Valley has for some years now been configured as an important migration corridor through which a large number of souls, facing the Balkan route, manage to cross the Slovenian border to reach Italy.
We will walk part of these paths where all too frequently one finds not waste but fragments of existence abandoned along the path of hope.

At the Reserve Visitor Center, at 11 a.m., the thematic traveling exhibition "The Garden of the (in)visible", curated by the University of Trieste and the University of the Coast of Koper, will open.

The traveling exhibition "The Garden of the (in)visible" recounts invisible passages that leave visible traces. Objects that are part of our lives, our world, our everyday life.

The garden of the (in)visible exhibits a part of the abandoned objects on the border between Croatia, Slovenia and Italy, collected by professors, students and students of the University of the Littoral Univerza na Primorskem and the University of Trieste.

Exhibition opening: Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 11 a.m., Multipurpose Cultural Center "France Prešeren," Bagnoli della Rosandra-Boljunec 507 - TS
