Instructions for Enrolment and CFU Recovery

Students with Full Acquisition of Credits

(3 exams passed)

a) Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics

Students who have obtained all 18 CFU from the Open Semester may enrol in Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics by 24 January (failure to do so will result in the loss of their place).

b) Access to Related Degree Programmes

Students who have obtained all 18 CFU from the Open Semester may enrol in a related degree programme by 31 January (failure to do so will result in the loss of their place).

Students with Credits to Be Recovered

(1 or 2 exams passed)

Students who are included in the ranking after passing 1 or 2 exams must recover the CFU not obtained during the Open Semester. CFU recovery is mandatory in order to continue studies in both Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, as well as in the chosen related degree programme.
 

a) Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics

Students who are in a qualifying position in the ranking for Medicine and Surgery or Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, and who have been assigned a place in Trieste, must enrol in the “Open Semester CFU Recovery” course by 24 January (failure to do so will result in the loss of their place).

Students who have currently been assigned to other universities but wish to choose Trieste as their preferred location may:

  • From 16 to 19 January, indicate Trieste as their new preference on the Universitaly portal (if available);
  • From 21 to 24 January, enrol at the University of Trieste following the procedures described above.
     

b) Access to Related Degree Programmes

Students who are in a qualifying position in the ranking for a related degree programme, and who have been assigned a place in Trieste, must enrol in the “Open Semester CFU Recovery” course by 31 January (failure to do so will result in the loss of their place).

Information on enrolment procedures is available at the following links:

Students who are currently assigned to other universities but wish to opt for Trieste may:

  • Between 4 and 6 February, indicate Trieste as their new preference on Universitaly (if available);
  • From 9 to 11 February, enrol at the University of Trieste (failure to do so will result in the loss of the place).

 

CFU Recovery Exam Sessions

The CFU recovery activities will be held on at least two dates for each subject, and will be completed in time to allow students to enrol for the second semester.

Students with No Credits Obtained

(0 exams passed)

Students who have been assigned to any university in Italy and did not obtain any credits during the Open Semester may enrol in an open-access degree programme at the University of Trieste from 14 January to 6 March.
