"DEVELOPING ADVANCED SPEAKING SKILLS" and "ACADEMIC ENGLISH WORKSHOP"

Two English courses organized by CLA (University Language Center) for tenured teaching staff

Length of the course: 35 hours (11 3-hour weekly lessons and a final 2-hour lesson)

Level required: C1 level

Course fee: free

The first course is designed to help tenured teaching staff improve their oral English skills. A wide range of activities will offer opportunities for both formal and informal conversation. Individual feedback will be provided throughout the course to help reduce ingrained errors and improve effective English communication.

The second course is aimed at tenured faculty who wish to improve their knowledge of the characteristics of academic English. We will focus on writing academic articles and delivering effective conference presentations.

Participants will be granted a statement of attendance upon completion of 70% of the course.
