TRIESTE NEXT 2025: VOLUNTEERS WANTED

The fourteenth edition of Trieste Next, the Festival of Scientific Research that will take place from 26 to 28 September 2025 with a focus on "Life within. Dialogues between science and technology", is once again focusing on the “Volunteer Project”. The initiative allows all UniTS students to experience the event as protagonists. This year's theme invites us to explore the depths of life, from its most intimate mechanisms to the great challenges of our time.

Becoming a volunteer at Trieste Next is an extremely engaging and stimulating experience that allows you to work at the forefront of an international event, discover the system of scientific research in our region and be inspired by the scientists and the dissemination of their projects.

Volunteers will support the activities of the teaching staff in the laboratories in Piazza Unità d'Italia, collaborate in welcoming visitors and managing the rooms where the conferences and events are held.

To take on this role you need passion, communication and interpersonal skills, empathy and a willingness to have fun and learn.

For your valuable contribution, you will not only receive a certificate of participation: UniTS will award 1 CFU to male and female students for 25 hours of voluntary work. All you have to do is present the certificate of participation, which will be issued at the end of the event, to your Department's Education Secretariat.

For those interested in working in a particular research group, please note that there is a specific field in the application form where you can indicate the name of the reference lecturer.
