As part of the SEAFUTURE 2025 event, scheduled to take place in La Spezia from September 29 to October 2, 2025, the SEAFUTURE AWARDS 2025 has been announced. This award aims to recognize experimental theses at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels, focused on products or processes in the field of maritime technologies, which may also be applicable in other sectors (Dual Use), and/or refer to one or more of the following areas of the Blue Economy:

• Marine Technologies and Innovation
• Sustainability
• Maritime Transport and Infrastructure

Eligible participants include graduates with bachelor's or master's degrees, PhD students, and PhD holders from both Italian and international academic institutions, provided their theses were evaluated with a score between 100 and 110/110.

The deadline for submitting theses and abstracts in PDF format is April 15, 2025, by 12:00 PM. Applications must be uploaded to the official platform at www.seafuture.it.

Prizes:

• First prize: €4,000
• Second prize: €2,500
• Third prize: €1,500
• Alternatively, internships with companies in the sector.

Selected theses will be displayed at SEAFUTURE 2025, and finalists will have the opportunity to participate in seminars, B2B meetings, and be included in promotional publications.
