Registration is now open for the seventh edition of the project "I Lincei for a new teaching method in schools", a refresher and advanced training course for school teachers.

For seven years, the Trieste hub of the national network "I Lincei per una nuova didattica nella scuola" (The Lincei for a New Teaching in Schools) has been organizing refresher and advanced training activities for school teachers in the four subjects covered by the project: Italian, mathematics, digital, and science. This has been achieved through the commitment of teachers from five departments: the Department of Engineering and Architecture (Prof. Agostino Accardo and Ajčević Miloš), the Department of Mathematics and Geosciences (Prof. Emilia Mezzetti, Fabio Perroni, Francesco Princivalle, Michele Stoppa, and Daniele Zuddas), the Department of Physics (Prof. Giacomo Margagliotti), the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (Prof. Federico Franco), the Department of Humanities (Prof. Tiziana Piras), and the Department of Life Sciences (Prof. Sabrina Pacor and Prof. Roberta Bulla).

The course is organized in collaboration with the I Lincei Foundation for Schools, the Regional School Office of Friuli Venezia Giulia, and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.

The project stems from a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Accademia dei Lincei and the Ministries of Education and Merit, as well as of University and Research, with the aim of supporting and promoting the improvement of the national education and training system through a variety of initiatives aimed at promoting the renewal of teaching and learning processes in the scientific and humanistic disciplines.
