The volume ““Salvatore Scoca e la Regia Università degli studi economici e commerciali di Trieste”, Giappichelli (2025), edited by Andrea Crismani and Franco Gaetano Scoca, has been published.

The publication opens with a foreword by the Rector of the University of Trieste, Roberto Di Lenarda, and brings together scholarly contributions from researchers who have explored the thought and work of Salvatore Scoca, one of the first professors of the Royal University of Economics and Business of Trieste and later a prominent figure in Italy’s legal, administrative, and political life in the post-war period.

The volume includes the papers presented at the conference held on 10 May 2024 at the University of Trieste, along with additional essays subsequently prepared to further investigate Scoca’s role in the history of the University and within the broader academic and institutional context in Italy.

The volume was produced as part of the Centenary celebrations of the University of Trieste and funded by the Department of Political and Social Sciences.
