UniTS students can submit their application to participate in the Promemoria_Auschwitz project, promoted by the Deina APS association, which the University of Trieste is also participating in this edition, by December 1, 2025.

The project will involve 48 university students selected by the University in an educational program that includes a bus trip to the former Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, with the aim of stimulating reflection on the construction of memories and the history of the twentieth century from a European perspective.

The project is divided into two distinct phases: the first involves historical training, organized in collaboration with the University of Trieste, which includes attendance at a series of seminars entitled "Building Memory" (December 17, 2025, January 12 and 22, February 5 and 19, 2026); the second consists of the trip, organized by the Deina association, which will take place from February 25 to March 2, 2026.

Interested students will be selected based on a cover letter that will be evaluated by a committee composed of members of Deina APS and UniTS.

The participation fee is €185, payable according to the terms and conditions communicated upon registration. The fee is non-refundable.
