Issue 35 (July 2026) of Visioni LatinoAmericane, the biannual scientific journal of the Centre for Latin American Studies (CSAL) at the University of Trieste, published by EUT – Edizioni Università di Trieste, is now available online.

The issue, entitled ¿Democracias resilientes, ciudadanías inacabadas? Gobernanza, medio ambiente y justicia climática en el Sur global de la COP 30 and edited by Andrea Lampis and Giorgia Bressan, offers a critical reflection on COP30, held in Belém, Brazil, in November 2025, and on the current state of global climate policies. It highlights the contradictions of the energy transition, geopolitical tensions and the growing role of civil society.

Directed by Professor Francesco Lazzari, Visioni LatinoAmericane continues to serve as an international forum for discussion and research, promoting the development of the social sciences and humanities from a transnational perspective.
