The call for applications is now open for the Francesco Pinna Memorial Graduation Award – 2025 Edition, promoted by the Municipality of Trieste in collaboration with the University of Trieste.

The award, in the amount of 1,000 euros, is intended for graduates with a master's degree from the University of Trieste who, after January 1, 2022, have defended a thesis focusing on occupational safety, specifically on the prevention and protection against risks in the workplace.

The initiative was established to honour the memory of Francesco Pinna, a young worker and student at the University of Trieste who tragically lost his life in a workplace accident in December 2011. The award aims to raise awareness and promote in-depth academic reflection on socially relevant issues.
