Data avviso 29 July 2026 Testo avviso Volume XXVIII, Issue 2 (2026) of Etica & Politica / Ethics & Politics is now available online. The international open-access philosophy journal is published by EUT – Edizioni Università di Trieste and co-edited by Pierpaolo Marrone, Associate Professor of Moral Philosophy at the University of Trieste’s Department of Humanities (DiSU).The issue opens with the monographic section “AI: Philosophical Challenges and Normative Choices”, devoted to the philosophical and ethical questions raised by artificial intelligence. Among the topics addressed are algorithmic identity and the construction of the self, the effects of AI on metacognitive abilities and critical thinking, its potential use as a tool for moral advice, the moral status of artificial systems, and questions of opacity, responsibility and the right to explanation.The issue also includes a symposium on Stephen Darwall’s volume The Heart and Its Attitudes, focusing on the role of emotions and interpersonal attitudes in moral relationships.The Varia section completes the issue, with articles on social rights, the meaning of work, the normative limits of algorithmic justice, the ethics of genetic enhancement, climate solidarity, well-being and peacebuilding.For information: marrone@units.it Link Read the new issue on the Etica & Politica / Ethics & Politics website
