The call for applications is now open for four scholarships for enrollment and participation in summer schools and/or scientific or outreach events on topics of interest to the University of Trieste’s Committee for Equal Opportunities, Employee Well-being and Non-Discrimination (CUG), to be held by December 2025.

Each scholarship amounts to 350 euros and will be awarded as follows:

• 2 scholarships for technical-administrative staff of the University;
• 2 scholarships for students enrolled at the University of Trieste.

Eligible initiatives must be organized by qualified institutions and focus on one or more of the following topics:

• the role of women in society;
• combating all forms of discrimination;
• organizational and workplace well-being in the public administration.

Eligibility criteria

Applications are open to:

• students regularly enrolled in the academic year 2024/2025 in bachelor’s, master’s, single-cycle or postgraduate degree programs at the University of Trieste, who are up to date with the payment of tuition fees;
• technical-administrative staff currently employed at the University.

The following documents must be attached in PDF format:

• a copy (front and back) of a valid identity document (or residence permit/visa for international applicants);
• a curriculum vitae et studiorum;
• a motivation letter explaining the applicant’s interest in the selected initiative;
• the program of the selected summer school or event and relevant information about the organizing institution.

The selection will be carried out by a committee appointed by the Rector upon the proposal of the CUG. Two separate rankings will be drawn up: one for students and one for technical-administrative staff. Scholarships will be awarded based on the CV, motivation letter, chosen program, and exams taken (for students).
