The Artemio Franchi Foundation Onlus, in collaboration with the University of Florence and under the patronage of the Italian Professional Football League (Lega Pro), announces the 15th Artemio Franchi Graduation Award, aimed at Master’s degree theses related to sports clubs, athletes, and sporting activities in general, with a particular focus on football.

The following prizes will be awarded:

  • 1st Prize: €2,500
  • 2nd Prize: €1,500
  • 3rd Prize: €500

In addition, the following Special Prizes will be awarded:

  • “Vittorio Mormando” Prize: for the best thesis in the field of law
  • “Insieme” Prize: for the best thesis on the development of Paralympic sports
  • “Women’s Football” Prize: for the best thesis on women’s sports, with a focus on football
  • “Unifi Include” Prize (€1,000): for the best thesis on sport as a tool for the integration and social inclusion of people with relational disabilities and as a means to overcome cultural, linguistic, and social barriers

Award winners may also be invited to present their theses as speakers during the Advanced Course in Sports Law at the University of Florence.

Eligibility
Graduates from Italian universities who obtained their degree after July 31, 2022, with a minimum final grade of 100/110, are eligible to apply.
