On April 22 and 23, 2026, the National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia will host the event "53rd Week of Aquileian Studies: Epigraphy and Iconography in Aquileia and the Upper Adriatic in the Middle Ages (8th–15th centuries)", the 53rd edition of the study meetings of the Center for Adriatic Antiquities, founded in 1968 by several professors of the University of Trieste and long held in collaboration with the Aquileia Foundation.

In addition to professors from the Department of Humanities at the University of Trieste, lecturers from various Italian and international universities will be present.

The event is sponsored by the University of Trieste under an existing framework agreement.
