On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., the event "Young People and Chemistry in Friuli Venezia Giulia" will take place in the Giacomo Costa Room in Building C11 of the Campus, located at Via Licio Giorgieri 1. The event is organized by the Italian Chemical Society, Friuli Venezia Giulia Section, together with the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (DSCF) of the University of Trieste and the Department of Agri-food, Environmental and Animal Sciences (DI4A) of the University of Udine, as well as local companies Zudek, Bracco Imaging, Dipharma Francis, and Edises.

The day will feature presentations by young chemists who will disseminate their findings to an audience that includes not only academics but also university and high school students.

Additionally, there will be a seminar led by a researcher from our region, this year dr. Rossella Svigelj, from the Department of Agri-Food, Environmental, and Animal Sciences at the University of Udine, on the topic of innovations in the field of sensors and biosensors.

This edition will also feature an educational session, a poster session, and the involvement of local businesses.

The ISIS Arturo Malignani school in Udine and the ITST J.F. Kennedy school in Pordenone will present their school projects.
