A training seminar for teachers of all levels of schools, titled "Writers' Voices for a New Teaching of Literature" will be held on Wednesday, November 26th and Thursday, November 27th, 2025.

The free seminar will take place in the "Arduino Agnelli" lecture room on the second floor of the DiSU at Androna Campo Marzio 10, but can also be followed online via the Teams platform.

Promote teachers' awareness of women writers not easily included in school textbooks, as an opportunity for innovative literature teaching. From the Middle Ages to the present day, many women writers have committed their reflections, ideas, and representations of society to the written page, leaving an indelible mark on all literary genres. This is a legacy of unexpected richness, of sometimes extraordinary literature that has been overlooked or removed from a canon largely closed to women. Many teachers have embraced the challenge by incorporating innovative, even interdisciplinary, teaching activities and curricula into their curriculum, focusing on women writers, beyond the reach of school literature textbooks.

Additionally, on Thursday, November 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the three-year classes of the ISIS Carducci Dante in Trieste, professor Laura Carchidi will present a talk entitled "Critical Reading of Excerpts from Elena Ferrante's "My Brilliant Friend". Marginalization, Adolescence, and Storytelling". During the talk, students will read and critically comment on several passages they have already practiced in class with their teachers.
