On Tuesday, 11 February 2025, at 3 p.m., on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste is offering a special meeting/visit with a group of women who work there, entitled ‘Working in scientific research: opportunities for women’.

This visit is dedicated to female university students (but not exclusively), who will have the opportunity to get to know Sincrotrone Elettra and the FERMI free-electron laser up close.

The meeting will take place at Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste, S.S. 14 Km 163.5 in AREA Science Park 34149, Basovizza.

A guided tour in small groups will provide an opportunity to explore the different aspects and specificities of a career in science, as well as the opportunities and professional outlets related to this environment.
