On 16th October 2024, Piazzale Europa will host the traditional Welcome Day, an event organised by the Student Council of the University of Trieste to welcome all students, with a special focus on freshmen. 

The event provides an opportunity to explore the associations listed in the University Register, along with various other student-led and external groups of special interest to the university community.

The day's programme includes:

• 15:00 - Opening of the associations' information booths.
• 17:30 - Institutional greetings.
• 19:00 - 19:45 - Live concert by the band ‘Cavana’.
• 19:45 - 20:45 - Dj set by ‘Libra’.
• 20:45 - 22:30 - Final DJ set with ‘Univibes’.

From 19:00 there will also be a bar service run by ‘La Bottega del Cicchetto’. 

To encourage participation, the first 500 people to visit all the associations' stalls will be entitled to a free drink.
