Transparency Day will be held in the Main Hall of the H3 Building (Piazzale Europa Campus) on Tuesday 21st January 2025, starting at 14.30. It is an initiative of the Deputy Rector for Legal Affairs and Transparency, the Rector and the Director General.

Transparency Day is an event based around the public administration’s principles of accountability and inspired by the need for a public administration which serves citizens. In an academic context, Transparency Day is usually dedicated to promoting clarity, accountability and open communication regarding processes, decisions and resource management.

This edition, entitled ‘Transparency and Innovation in Energy Management: Moving Towards a Sustainable Future’, intends to develop these concepts by applying them to the energy sector, focussing on the visibility and comprehensibility of supply, management and regulation systems, both for authorities and citizens.

Transparency if of high importance, as it breeds trust and spreads responsibility and clarity on how sensitive issues such as energy are managed and how decisions are made in the public sphere.

PROGRAMME
