On Thursday, 8 May 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00, in Room 3_A of Building D, the Department of Economics, Business, Mathematics and Statistics (DEAMS) of the University of Trieste is organising an event titled “Trade Wars and Geopolitical Instability: What Role Did Trump’s Tariffs Play?”

Professor Laura Chies will moderate a discussion featuring Professor Maurizio Zenezini, former lecturer in International Economic Policy at DEAMS, and Professor Jacopo Zotti, lecturer in International Economics at the Department of Political and Social Sciences (DISPeS).

The event is open to students and the general public.
