On Thursday, 27 February 2025, at 7 p.m., at the Kleine Berlin, in Via F. Severo, opposite number 11, in Trieste, an event of the Progetto Quadrato Culturale T.E.T.R.I.S. (Texts & Translations: Research + Inventions of Signal Systems) will take place entitled: ‘Translations from an underground. Or If Dostoevsky meets Schrödinger's cat', an experience of “cultural speleology” within the meanders of translation.  

Quadrato Culturale T.E.T.R.I.S. is an IPS-TM Project of the Department of Legal, Language, Interpretation and Translation Sciences - IUSLIT of the University of Trieste, financed by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia - Creativity 2023 Notice.

As part of the project, several meetings propose, as in the case of the next event, creative readings using special playing cards made by Modiano Industrie Carte da Gioco e Affini S.p.A. The ©Carte Culturali ‘Poechali!’ cards become each time an expressive tool to be associated with sounds, music and objects, useful to stage a dialogue, a creative relationship between writing, reading and translation.

The meeting is realised in cooperation with the Department of Informatics of the University of Verona-UniVR.

The project will continue on 11 and 12 April with two meetings promoted with the E.N. Rogers Station Association (official partner of the project).
