On Wednesday, 28th May 2025, at 18:00, the Main Hall of Building A of the University of Trieste, located in Piazzale Europa 1, will host the event "Stories of Light: Two Nobel Laureates in Conversation", featuring Nobel Prize winners Anne L'Huillier and Alain Aspect.

During the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology and to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Department of Physics, Nobel Laureates Alain Aspect (2022) and Anne L'Huillier (2023) will discuss the personal and professional journey that led them to achieve the highest honour for a scientist.

The journalist Eva Ciuk will chair the discussion.

The event will be held in English with simultaneous translation into Italian displayed on screens in the hall.
