04 June 2025 , 6:30 - 7:30 pm Testo evento On Wednesday 4 June 2025, at 6.30 p.m., at the Rogers Station, Riva Grumula 14, Trieste, there will be the Presentation of the book 'Il corpo delle pagine. Scrittura e vita in Carla Lonzi" (2024) by Linda Bertelli and Marta Equi Pierazzini. The review ‘SpringBooks, Dialogues of literary theory and cultural criticism’ continues with a meeting featuring Linda Bertelli, co-author, together with Marta Equi Pierazzini, of the book "Il corpo delle pagine. Scrittura e vita in Carla Lonzi", published by Moretti & Vitali in December 2024. The book investigates the intertwining of Carla Lonzi's writing and existential and intellectual events, showing how in Lonzi writing and life merged into a single practice and how the context, both historical and personal, played a crucial role in everything that the activist and essayist portrayed in her texts. At the same time, the writing experiences of Bertelli and Equi Pierazzini are also intertwined. In the essay, the result of long research and archive work, they come together in a final dialogue, placing at the centre of the debate the contribution that Lonzi's writing continues to offer to the dynamics of the present.Linda Bertelli is an associate professor in Aesthetics at the Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca. Her research concerns the theory of the image, the history of photography between the 19th and 20th centuries and the history of feminist movements in Italy in the second half of the 20th century. The meeting will be moderated by Sergia Adamo, Professor of Comparative Literature and Theory of Literature at the University of Trieste."SpringBookS. Dialogues of literary theory and cultural criticism" is a series of events curated by Sergia Adamo, Francesca D'Alessio, Tommaso Dal Monte and Iwan Paolini. The review will continue with further meetings until 23 June. The guests of the initiative will discuss their publishing activities, publications and research works, all works that compare the present with the thought of some of the leading names of the 20th century literary and cultural scene, from Auerbach to Haraway, from Pasolini to Lonzi.
