Per una teoria femminista del romanzo in dialogo con György Lukács e Walter Benjamin", published by Mimesis in December 2024. Divided into two parts, the essay investigates the relationship between the novel and truth, first analysing the historical-philosophical characteristics of the genre and defining the concept of truth itself, then comparing the opposing positions held in this regard by György Lukács and Walter Benjamin, recalling in the course of the analysis a number of important feminist theories - from Sandra Harding's Standpoint Theory to the ‘feminine realism’ developed by the Thought of Sexual Difference of the Women's Philosophical Community Diotima, via the concept of intersectionality formulated by Kimberlé Crenshaw.Caterina Diotto has a PhD in philosophy and is currently an adjunct lecturer at the University of Trieste. Her interests focus on the intertwining of aesthetics and politics, feminism and ecology, in particular from the theory of narration and the theory of the novel.
