On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the documentary "Magredi la steppa friulana", produced by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region as part of the "Life Pollin Action" project, will be screened in the Aula Magna of Building M on the Campus.

"Magredi, the Friulian Steppe" is a four-season journey to discover the largest permanent meadows in Northern Italy.

The documentary film was selected from 158 entries from around the world at the "Sondrio Festival", a festival dedicated to nature documentaries. The work was ranked among the top eight films and received a special mention from the international jury.

The screening will be followed by a meeting with the authors, led by Miris Castello, professor of Systematic Botany, and Matteo Carzedda, professor of Agricultural Economics. The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region Biodiversity Service and Marco Virgilio will be available to discuss the film with teachers and students.

The event is part of the initiatives carried out within the Educational Pact for Environmental Education in Friuli Venezia Giulia coordinated by Arpa FVG.
